bonnnn jourrr parreee

i was blessed to spend the last few days in one of my favorite cities with my favorite people!
Paris is one of the prettiest places there is,
and we got lucky with some seriously nice weather.

The trip was short, but we got some amazing places in!
It was so fun going to a place Chan loves so much and seeing him speak French!
It was probably one of my favorite parts of the trip.
And also the fact that the buildings, the language, the food are all so beautiful.

The eiffel tower really doesn't get old..

Did I mention we got to celebrate Chandler's birthday there??? Lucky.. :)
I had the best time exploring with him, trying to sing happy birthday in french, and eating LOTS of crepes
in celebration, of course!

The real treat for me was having my family there.
Any time I can spend more than a weekend with these people, I am a happy girl!!

Au Revoir!

the new year + al resolutions

happy new year!

2013 is officially over and what a great year it was! i got married, began my senior year of college, travelled a ton, and learned more about myself and love than ever before.  it has probably been the fastest year of my life, but one of my favorites.  i have few complaints and couldn't have picked anyone better than chan to constantly be by my side.

2014 has a lot to live up to, but it's already seeming equally as amazing.  I graduate from college in april, i'm starting a business i'm so stoked about with my wonderful siblings, im going to africa, and did i mention im graduating??!?

BYU is one of the best things that has ever happened to me, but i hate school.  i really truly do.  it is so difficult for me and now looking back, i feel like there have been so many things i have put on the back burner to focus on things i do not even love.

in 2014, i want to carve out more time for myself to learn new skills.  im knocking some more things off my bucket list and also trying to make more time for the things i used to love.  like reading!  many books will be read in 2014. (ive had a running list since freshman year but would love more suggestions!)  im also looking forward to yoga 3 days a week (even with 18 credits, no excuses), working on the sibs latest project, learning calligraphy and french. I sound a little over optimistic, but let's be real, after graduation i will have loooootsss of free time.  so guess that means ill have no excuse to not cook :)

i hope your year is off to a wonderful start as well!
